What is counselling and how can it help you?

There can be any number of things that bring us to counselling:

Modern life brings us challenges and difficulties that can be difficult to deal with.
There may be:

- Historic life events 

- Family or relationship issue

- A loss of someone or something important to you.

- Work, school or university.

It may simply be that you just don’t feel right.


Unexpected changes in our lives can leave us feeling uncertain and overwhelmed. When these situations occur we often lose confidence in ourselves. At times like these it may seem as though we can’t see a way through... This is where counselling can be so effective.


Counselling provides you with the time to explore what you are experiencing. You will have the opportunity to feel heard in a safe and confidential space free from judgement to process your experiences and unburden your mind. We will develop tools and techniques unique to you which will continually support you going forward.
